No need to buy those expensive fruit dips at the grocery store! This simple Fruit Dip recipe is easy to whip up and doesn’t include any marshmallow cream or cream cheese. Instead, I use Greek yogurt in my recipe because I usually have it on hand. Add some homemade whipped cream or store-bought whipped topping to make the most creamy and delicious dip for all your favorite fresh fruits. Only 4 ingredients and 5 minutes is all you need!

Easy Fruit Dip Recipe
This Greek yogurt fruit dip is everything I want in a quick and easy treat: creamy but light and just sweet enough without being overwhelming. The yogurt gives it a smooth and tangy base, while the whipped topping adds a fluffy texture that I just love. It’s also SO easy to scale up for a crowd (perfect for BBQs, potlucks, birthdays, baby showers, or a quick after-school snack to keep those little mouths satisfied!) And anything that gets my kids to happily eat a plate of fresh fruit is always a win in my book. 😉

Variations to try!
This recipe for fruit dip is simple on purpose. I really like the subtle sweetness and how the flavor of whatever you serve it with shines through. But that doesn’t mean you can’t mix it up and try something different! Here are some variations that I think could work well:
- Use a flavored Greek yogurt (like raspberry or strawberry) to switch up the flavor and add a little color. I’d adjust the powdered sugar to taste here, depending on the flavor you choose!
- Use a different flavor extract, such as almond extract
- Stir in some orange, lemon, or lime zest for a little zing!
- Sprinkle over some cinnamon or nutmeg (this would be great for the fall, especially if served with apple slices)
- Mix in chocolate chips (any type) or sprinkles
- Add peanut butter for a nutty flavor (I’d start with 1-2 tablespoons and add more to taste)
- Try making it dairy-free by using your favorite dairy-free Greek yogurt and whipped topping
- Wanna up the protein content? Make our honey vanilla cottage cheese fruit dip and serve both options at your next gathering!
Serving Suggestions
- Grapes, blueberries, strawberries, and apple slices like I have in the photos here!
- Pineapple and mango chunks
- Cantaloupe, watermelon, or honeydew melon slices
- Sliced bananas, raspberries, or kiwi slices
- Graham crackers
- Cookies (My family love Nilla wafers and homemade chocolate chip cookies)
- Pretzel sticks
- Layered with granola and your choice of fruit
- Served with our red, white, and blue fruit salad for 4th of July
The key is to keep it fresh and fun, so feel free to mix and match whatever fruits or treats you have on hand.
Storage Instructions
Any leftovers will last around 3-4 days in an airtight container in the fridge. However, this can vary based on the freshness of your Greek yogurt and whipped topping, so your exact mileage may vary.
