Hey! I just wanted to give y’all an unapologetic reminder that in just TWO SHORT WEEKS you can have your hands on a physical copy of my cookbook! Woot!

On February 4thBudget Bytes: Over 100 Easy, Delicious Recipes to Slash Your Grocery Bill in Half drops! You can preorder it now (ordering info here) or wait and get it in a bricks and mortar store on the 4th. It is/will be available at all major book stores and, as I just discovered, at the New Orleans Public Library! Very exciting!

If you haven’t yet, check out the fun little video we made about the book and the philosophy behind it:

Stay Tuned…

I’ll most likely be hosting a little Pinterest contest giveaway with Penguin next week to kick off the book launch, so stay tuned for more details! Fun and games! Yay!

THANK YOU

I can never say it enough—Budget Bytes wouldn’t still exist without all of you. So, THANK YOU for reading, commenting, and talking with me on a daily basis. This experience has been a dream come true and it’s all because of you. :D

And now for a few gifs to express all of my feels:

See that little guy in the middle that’s practically vibrating because he’s so excited? That one is me.

I have followed your blog for years and I love your work endlessly! Have you ever considered being a host on the food network?

Congrats to you! I’ve got your book on the buying list at the library where I work… University of Utah, Marriott Library. :)

  7. Dunja says:

Obviously I have preordered the book as soon as it was possible, and will now add a second copy to the order for my Dad’s 73rd birthday. I’ve been serving him BudgetBytes recipes whenever they came to visit, and he loved all of them, so this is the logical consequence.

It was very nice to put a – beautiful! – face to all the fantastic recipes, watching the video :)

  8. I preordered mine, too, as soon as you made the announcement last year! I cannot wait to read through the recipes! Like Dunja, I served only recipes from your blog over the holidays to my family, and my Mom was so in love with everything she ate, and how you broke up the recipes and portions by price. I think I know what she’ll be getting for Mother’s Day this year!! Congratulations!!

    Awesome!

  10. Mike says:

Another Librarian here, we have a cooking class at the campus so I’m going to have to get a second copy to add to the stacks to go along with my own personal one.

Congratulations! I’m looking forward to reading it, and making ALL the things.

    Beth,
Thanks for the video about your new book. It was very cool to see and hear the creative and dedicated person who inspires so many people.
Several of your recipes are in my rotation and my husband has a breakfast burrito or one with your crockpot not refried beans in his lunch box every day.
Thanks for all your hard work.
    Melissa

  26. Molly F. says:

    Hey Beth!
I have been following your site for a while and I just love it! Congrats on the cookbook!
Also, though I don’t know you and have only ever seen your pic on the side of the blog (with darker hair), I just had to say that you are rocking the blond in your video– love it!
Thanks for all the great recipes and fun ways to think about saving money while eating well!

    • Thanks! My natural color is about half way between blonde and brown, so I can go either way without it lookin’ too crazy. :)

  27. Nicole says:

Four copies will be in the Vancouver library up in Canada :)

  28. Beth, I am so excited about your cookbook but haven’t ordered yet because I can’t decide on the e-book or real book. Do you know if its possible to print from the e-book?

    • Well, I believe it’s Kindle format and I don’t believe you can print from those (although I don’t own a Kindle, so I’m not completely sure).

  29. Wendy says:

Thanks for the reminder, Beth! Just pre-ordered via Amazon China. Looking forward to waving it under my fiance’s nose so he can expand his repertoire. I am a longtime fan but find I get more inspiration from your recipes than need to follow them (meanwhile I still needed to buy your book because you provide such a great resource and you deserve the support).

So excited for you on taking such a huge step. Congratulations!

  30. Kerri says:

    Just pre-ordered it! Can’t wait!

  35. Heather says:

Yeah..book arrived, cold MN winter day…home from work…flipped on fire and now going to read book!!! Ate your pumpkin baked oatmeal custard at work today….lots of comments on how good it looked. Think I can influence some more purchases!!!

I never order cookbooks anymore (because, internet) but I just got yours yesterday and I’m so excited, I LOVE it! Every single recipe that I’ve ever made from your site has been amazing so I knew that I needed your book ASAP. Hopefully there will be more to come! :D

  37. Jenn says:

I’ve been in love with your blog for years. So in love that I prefer surfing your recipes before hitting up Pinterest (gasp!). Are the recipes in the book the same as the site or did you throw in some new ones?
